Tallinn is on the Gulf of Finland’s southern shore. Not far to the west lies the Baltic Sea and then further west, the North Atlantic Ocean. These bodies of water help create weather patterns that often result in summertime “air-mass” thunderstorms or, at a minimum, afternoon pop-up showers.
These showers can pass through fairly quickly. What’s left is colorful evidence of Mother Nature’s work. The photos in this category are from Church Plaza near St. Mary’s as well as Kohtu Street, both in upper Old Town aka Toompea.
