The 372

Estonia is a wonderful place to practice compositional photography. It’s fair to say I’ve put in some practice here making tens of thousands of images dating back to 1999. Each one exemplifies technical perfection. Not so much, as it turns out!

The portfolio on this site totals about 2,600 photos. While each has meaning to the photographer, the project is likely best presented in a downsized version. So, the set offered on this page consists of just 372 images – mostly personal favorites.

Themes include: Old Town’s architectural charm; the 2019 Song & Dance Festival; land & seascapes, and; observational “street” photography.  The intent is to offer an affectionate glimpse of a country and people I have grown to admire and love.

Why 372?

Simply put, the project name references Estonia’s three-digit international dialing code. So, it only seems appropriate to pare the Collection down to 372 photos.
