Luhina Boat Harbor is the perfect escape from Tallinn’s busy city life. Located on Saaremaa’s southeastern shore, it faces the Gulf of Riga which provides natural protection from the Baltic Sea’s rough waters. This was once a commercial fishing port. Over the last many years, Jaak and his family have turned it into a wonderful summertime retreat. The harbor inlet is still a great place to catch fish for the evening’s meal or smoking. The vast expanse of green grass welcomes a visitor to just relax and enjoy the deep blue sky dotted by cumulus clouds passing slowly overhead connected by the occasional contrail.
