This was a special place. Good friends operated an eel farm on this property located near the southern tip of Lake Võrtsjärv in southeastern Estonia. These were halcyon days. Summers were warm and relaxing. The skies were a beautiful shade of blue. Every sunset golden. I can still smell the mouthwatering aroma of shashlik (pork kabobs) simmering on the BBQ. A friendly game of Uno with the kids was an evening treat. Wonderful memories. Aitäh to Raivo, Mairi, Laura and Sandra.
