Estonia Coastline & Countryside (Eesti maal ja rannas)

A few fun facts: Estonia is a Northern European country of approximately 1.3 million people. It is bordered on the north by the Gulf of Finland, on the west by the Baltic Sea, on the south by Latvia and the east by Russia. Geographically, it’s relatively small at 17,462 square miles (45,227 sq. km), or about twice the size of New Hampshire. It could fit inside the state of Alaska nearly 33 times. It’s also fairly flat. The highest point is only 1,043 feet (318m). Again, for comparison, Alaska’s highest point is 20,310 feet (6,190m). The first known settlements were along the Pärnu River 11,000 years ago. The name “Estonia” is thought to have originated via a Roman historian in 98 AD.
