Börsi käik (Stock Market Passage) connects Pikk and Lai streets. It’s also known as the “Path of History”. Important events in Estonia’s past are displayed on plates imbedded in the 230 foot (70m) stone walkway. A quick note about Pikk (Long) street, the name is fitting since it is literally Old Town’s longest street at 2,470 feet (753m). It starts at the northern entrance and ends at the gate leading to Pikk jalg.
